Bathe

Paul Hargreaves gave us good advice and ideas on design and what we could fit into our bathroom, he obviously knows what hes talking about and there was no pressure to order. In the end we didnt get everything from Bathe but what we did order is high quality and looks perfect.

We visited this store on 7th of Jan and were advised that the store was open on the 8th with the Sale continuing. On the 8th we were advised by an unapologetic, unprofessional sales agent that the unit and basin we had selected was 400 more expensive, as the price had increased. (The sale price of the unit had not been updated on the unit). Clearly a breach of advertising standards. With the 'new' price, any sales price benefit had disappeared altogether. (In fact, in spite of the signs there was no sale. ) Two different stories emerged from the 2 sales agents ... the increase should have been implemented 2 week ago (ridiculous, as it would not have been a 'sale' then) ; the other was that they had been told to implement the increase on the Sunday. Needless to say we cut short our visit and did not even discuss negotiating on the price which is obviously what they wanted. Lucky escape. If Bathe cannot get the pricing correct during purchase how would you begin to trust such a cowboy outfit with any aftersales service. One for Advertising Standards.
