Appalling experience. Made an offer on one property that had been on the market since November last year. Viewed it less than a week ago and made an offer below asking price (no other offers on the table). Ironic in less than a week, multiple offers made? Another property today. Phoned to enquire if any new information is available. Ladies screen crashes and asks a colleague. I got informed that five offers, including my own had been made, would I like to increase my offer. I informed I would like to withdraw my offer and continue looking. Within two minutes another person from breaky and co rang back to inform there was only two offers including ours on the table? At this point , my partner believe that breaky and co are gazumping prices and will not look at any more properties with them. They will take offers and continously encouraging "best and final" to gazump pricing. Likely targeting first time buyers. Only positive i can say is that they have good telephone manner. Watch out for these strategies.
