        They are charging ripoff price for E5 and it isn't clear until after you fill up on the pump I used. Charging over 50p /litre more than for standard E10, 1.999! Avoid.

        It's a shell station great position if you need fuel before jumping on the M6 as you leave Wigan. Petrol prices are high but if you need V Power for your car they are the expected higher price. The station has a packed mini mart if you need to grab some food stuffs. They do some great filled baguettes the chicken tikka ones are real nice and cheaper than the ones on the motorway services. Entry and exit to this station is nice and easy at most times helped by a set of traffic lights just before the station.
