    Wigan Growing Network who manage the site have done a great job turning this derelict site into a community allotment. There are private plots for rent and a community food growing area. The site has a fantastic straw bale building that hosts other groups doing activities like furniture restoration etc. There's also courses in bee keeping, fruit tree grafting etc
