Nu Venture Wigan Ltd

This company owes us money. I would give no stars if I could. I wish to warn others before parting with money. We ordered a van to be built over a year ago, March 2022. Debbie sourced the van base for us, very quickly. We paid for this and paid our first installment for the build . The build never happened. We then discovered that the company had gone voluntarily Bankrupt just before they took our order. They reformed as Nu Venture Wigan. No work ,which was promised, ever happen and the regular mechanics left in the summer I believe. We recovered our van in December 2022 as we did not want to continue business with Debbie. We told her in January that we would not be proceeding with our conversion. Debbie agreed to pay us half of our first installment payment ,as a good will gesture, keeping the other half for "parts" they had already bought . She sent us copies of her invoices for these parts , as we requested. They were dated before we had even agreed to buy the van! We did reluctantly agree to half our money back but this has never been paid. E mails, registered letters, ansa phone messages, texts are all ignored. We know another couple who had the same experience. Please read previous review and please take heed.

I have been in touch with Debbie at Nu Venture many times over the last 3 years. I can't recommend her and the company highly enough, always willing to discuss and recommend, glad to get us out of a fix. Thank you Nu Venture (Wigan)

The staff are arrogant, especially Debbie and makes you feel though you are a burden when viewing very expensive vehicles. Was put right off the place.

so disappointed in this company, we bought ourselves a 2016 Fiat Ducatto lwb high top just 60,000 on it and added the air suspension and double leaf springs in anticipation of getting it converted by a company in Wigan called Nuventure, we had to pay upfront 15,000 in July 2019 to reserve the build dates in the company diary to start in November and be completed by Feb 2020 just in time for our European tour. They declared themselves voluntarily bankrupt in January and started a new company called "Nuventure (Wigan)" and continued trading from exactly the same building with the same workforce and the directors owing almost 250,000 to creditors of which we weren't even on the creditors list from the liquidator. we haven't got a penny back and have now had to sell the van base we bought to try to recoup some money
