Etch and Cut Wigan helped me with an engraving idea for a chopping board i have had made out of wood from a Bramley Apple tree that came down in a storm back in 2020. My Wife loved the tree and we have have many memories of it . It is a special birthday for her in December . Etch and Cut made a fantastic Job by putting on the chopping block the wording ( Fairlawn Bramley Apple 2020 ) plus an image of an apple on a branch . Many thanks for that .

Friendly and helpful service! I had an idea for a project but needed someone with the expertise to bring it to life. I approached Mark with my initial designs, he listened to what I wanted and advised me on the technical aspects. The finished product is beautiful, I would definitely recommend Etch and Cut.

What can I say? I see a salmon in our stream, write a poem and then have the mad idea of turning into a life size stainless steel sculpture. Trouble is, who do you go to, when you live in the back of beyond? I spent a long time trawling google for laser etchers/cutters, and tried the big boys first. Problem was the point of contact was disinterested. So I found a local firm - seemed interested on the phone, so sent them our artwork, and heard nothing back. Third time lucky I rang Etch and Cut and got straight through to Mark. 4 weeks after writing the poem we've just received the finished 1.9 metre high piece. Absolutely brilliant standard of finish, exceeding what we could have expected, and bubble wrapped in its own bullet proof handmade ply box, and delivered next day. But the real point is at every stage we had personal contact with Mark, who talked us through technical and design issues, and converted our artwork immaculately into something his laser could work on. He's a great chap who responded to any email or phone call asap, and I can't believe that the whole project has worked out so well. Oh, and delivered under time and on budget, so I'm thrilled. If every UK business worked to this level we'd have nothing to fear about what Brexit might lead to. Thanks again Mark, you're a star!
