Absolutely terrible service and will be looking to change surgeries. Was the sickest I had ever been, so called up 8am opening time, to receive a message until 8.10am saying they were closed. Finally got through after being told I was position 1 for 35 mins. Told them I needed a phone call that day, I was in a really bad way. They just said sorry no, do an econsult. Tried this, just to receive error messages on the site. In the end, 111 sent out an ambulance for me. To get the medication, they contacted the surgery. The receptionist did everything she could to dismiss them, even the paramedic said you dont have a medical degree. They were met with nothing but bad attitude and very reluctant to give me the medication. Disgusting service.

So Id just like to say how disgusted I am of this place. I asked for an urgent appointment due to the fact Im suffering with major depression and on the brink of suicide due to feeling so unwell. I told the receptionist I desperately needed to see someone. He gave me a telephone appointment for 14 days later and nobody even rang me! I then had my mother who phone them and they said they would ring within a couple of days and havent! This just goes beyond an absolute insult to someone who is fighting for there life. This place should be investigated and ideally closed down. They do not care for anyone other than themselves. I mean how much longer until someone loses there life due to Ill practice. Ive been on medication for 15 years and theyve only ever asked to review it twice! Ive been left on subscribed codeine for neck pain for around 6-7 years and theyve not even asked to review that! What an absolute mockery to the health service! One other thing as well... I live almost directly across from the surgery and one of the staff parked directly in front of my (250k) house when I had a skip wagon coming to remove a skip off my drive. I went in to the surgery and asked could she please move the car as the wagon couldnt get in to the correct position to remove the skip... Her response was slam her pen down and say this is an absolute joke She then proceeded to argue with me at the top of her voice in front of the skip driver, before finally moving the car. Safe to say shes not parked there since. I personally think and know this medical practise is anything but capable to deal with the community.. The place is to small and doesnt have enough staff/doctors working there! Absolute joke and risk to human life. Thanks for all the support over the years Orrell Surgery! NOT!
