Long story short: Vauxhall Astra Griffin 69 plate: 2.5 year old car with 20k on the clock and the timing chain is gone Car is in the service for two months. The car is a business car for my driving lessons and Vauxhall wouldnt pay any compensation or cover the cost for a dual controlled car until I get my car back. Not to mention Vauxhall dont want to cover the monthly finance on the car either even though I cant even use it for two months now. I give Vauxhall one more chance to offer any compensation if they still dont want to hear about it then I will have no other choice than get my money through the court with the help of my solicitor. I was off work for 4 weeks, had to sign a two year lease contract somewhere else to be able to work and earn money. What an absolute joke that I have to pay for two cars just because Vauxhall dont care about their customers. Timing chain replacement is covered under the manufacturer warranty. Ridiculous that a 2.5 year old car with 20k on the clock have to through issues like this. I dont care about the loss of income I have had but I want the monthly finance of the car for the past two months until I get my car back and the weekly fee for the leased car for the last 2 weeks and the rest of the weeks until I get my car back. Unacceptable as it is definitely wont buy Vauxhall in the future at all. Stay away from them if you wanted to have a reliable car with professional customer care.
