AD Design

Andrew was recommended to us by a friend, and I am so glad he did. We had met a couple of architects prior to starting our home renovation project, who were pretty unreliable, and nothing ever materialised. We went to Andrew with a clear idea of what we wanted, which was a good place to start, however Andrew really helped us develop and hone our ideas, into our final product. Andrews experience and competency put us completely at ease, as we took the first steps on a large and daunting project. We felt comfortable leaving everything in Andrews capable hands, and he had our plans over to us promptly. He took control of everything from draft drawings through to planning permission submission, and completed paperwork and forms to ensure that we didnt get any nasty surprises (legal jargon and requirements can do that if youre not careful!), and as such, ensured we were not liable to any hefty payments (12k CIL if I remember correctly!) Once our plans were submitted and planning permission accepted, we began the building project promptly. Along the way we were met with a few difficulties, as is to be anticipated when undergoing a large project. 6 months into the works, I called on Andrew to help iron these issues out, that were hanging over my head and causing a lot of stress. He was around the house within a few days, developed our new drawings, and liaised with our local council and within a couple of weeks, everything was sorted. No interruptions and a whole lot of stress relieved. Since, the renovation has now been completed, and I cannot thank Andrew enough for being of very first appointment on our renovation journey. Without Andrew, we wouldnt have hour dream house! I cannot recommend Andrew enough. He has been such a pleasure to deal with, supportive along the way, and finding someone to guide you thorough such a daunting project is absolutely paramount. Andrew is worth his weight in gold and I cannot recommend him enough.

Andrew did a fantastic job producing a great design and plans to make our home far more family friendly. Nothing was too much trouble in terms of support throughout the process. We love the end result.

Andy did our plans for a single storey extension. He was quick and very efficient, nothing was too much trouble I had to ring him a couple of times about certain aspects of the extension which he promptly answered. Thanks for all your help, I would definitely recommend him!

I had an idea of what extension I wanted but had no idea of how to best utilise the space. Andy not only designed something which totally opened my eyes, but his knowledge on the steps I had to take before even putting a spade in the ground was priceless. His ongoing support throughout the build has been invaluable and I would highly recommend to anyone no matter how big or small your project be.
