        I spent one of the most magical and memorable weeks of my life at Widworthy Barton. The location is breathtaking. The view of the rolling hills above the private heated pool is outstanding. The grounds; with a tennis court, beautiful flowers, fruit trees and the marvellous St Cuthbert's church with its beautiful congregation, are all second to none. The house itself is exquisite, full of historical features, and the finish of every room is of a quality higher than some 5* hotels in which I've stayed. Above all, Caroline and Graham as the custodians of the Barton, are perhaps its greatest asset. Graham ensures that the grounds are immaculate, and during our stay helped us out with anything we needed. Caroline, is indescribably kind, helpful, and made us feel like we were visiting an old family friend. They are two of the loveliest people you will ever meet. I cannot praise Widworthy Barton highly enough. If I could, I would give it 6 stars.
