Reubyn Ash Surf School, Widemouth Bay

I had an amazing 1-2-1 surf lesson with Reubyn last week, he was very informative and thorough with his training. We did about 30 mins on the beach then we got in the water and surfed some waves, with his knowledge and advice I went from standing up 1 in every 20 waves on my own before the lesson to standing up almost every wave during the lesson. I would highly recommend this to anyone wishing to learn/improve there surfing. Thanks again mate

Reubyn took my children for a beginners lesson and he was brilliant, both children loved their lesson and in their words, Reubyn was really supportive, informative and the lesson was loads of fun. The only downside, is that it's going to cost me more lessons, because they loved it so much!

I would give 10 stars! We all know the surf schools where you're put in a group of 12 and the instructor stands on the shore making sure nobody drowns. Not with Reubyn Ash! He gives you the full surf experience in and out of the water and teaches you methods you can use and put right to practice. In Five lessons you'll learn much, much more then 2 straight weeks of any other surf school. Reubyn is not shy passing on tips and tricks of his professional experience. If you're serious about giving surfing a try, there's just no way around booking couple of lessons with this legend. I promise you'll be hooked! For my family and me, we can't wait get back on the board as soon as possible!

My kids and myself had the best time learning to surf with Reubyn down in Widemouth Bay. He guaranteed that he'd get us all standing on the board by the end of our two sessions - and we all did!! He was experienced, patient and very very skilled at explaining about safety, wave watching, body position and the best technique to get you up on the board. Thoroughly recommend - we'll be back next year!
