The Dartmoor Coach House Self catering accommodation

This is a perfectly located place to explore south east Dartmoor. A beautifully equipped, spacious dwelling (huge utility room for washing and drying walking gear), huge, well equipped kitchen with underfloor heating. Upstairs a beautiful lounge space with log burner, TV (if that's your sort of thing), bathroom with powerful shower. They could have squeezed more accommodation in here, but have chosen not to, meaning there is a great feeling of relaxing space. Can explore from the door to lots of Tors and moorland; Hound Tor is three miles, Haytor similar. If you stock up before you get here, there's enough walking to not touch the car. Dark skies, wildlife (bats just now, deer bellowing across the valley from the deer park), perfect.

Outstanding little house with two bedrooms (one double and one single), a great bathroom and a huge downstairs open plan kitchen. Secluded in Dartmoor, it's super quiet and you can either chill there or explore all the villages. Host was amazing and even let us stay one extra day due to all the bad weather (August 2019). Good WiFi but beware, no mobile signal.
