We cannot thank Linda, Rob and the Gather and Feast team enough! The food on our wedding day was one of the most important elements, as big lovers of food we couldn't think of anything worse than people going home hungry. Gather and Feast certainly made sure that everyone was well fed and people with dietary requirements were well looked after. I think people were waddling back to their cars at the end of the night! As the couple we were given our own tray of canapes to take with us as we did our couple photos away from the main drinks reception. They didn't last long! All our guests and even the venue owner commented on how superb the food and the Gather and Feast team were. Do not hesitate in booking Gather and Feast for your wedding or event!

Gather and Feast provided the superb catering at a 90th Birthday Party held at The Old Parish Rooms, a lovely and intimate venue conveniently located in Rayleigh. The menu options were extensive and varied and Emily was very helpful in discussing all aspects of the event organisation, food and drinks options, and responded quickly to our queries. On the day Anita, Emilys lovely Mum, was a friendly and attentive hostess helping us ensure the event ran smoothly and efficiently, the Serving and Bar Staff were extremely pleasant and professional and the entire event was a great success due in no small part to the delicious and attractively presented Feast Table prepared by Emily. Emily, Anita and the Team made us and our guests feel welcome and comfortable and we would highly recommend their services.

Gather & Feast Righto folks. First off, fair warning and all that. Youre going to need a slice of cake, a cup of your favourite beverage and a nice comfy place to sit. Probably by some sort or fireside. Why do you need all of these things I hear you cry. First because Im going to tell you a story and such things deserve such settings, secondly because this is going to be rather long. Return with me if you will to a year ago.where our hero, me.has begun in earnest to plan a wedding. Strangely enough at my age Id never been married before so really had no clue what I was doing, but given I was the Groomzilla I was determined to get it right and plan it to within one fair inch of its existence. Now welcome into our little story the figure of Emily, chef, planner and many more things beside. In the time leading up to the wedding I was somewhat needy (massive understatement). Emily was unfalteringly, helpful, kind and indulged me on even my annoying-est of requests. It cannot be stated any clearer than this, at all times, in all ways Emily was the stable glue holding my mosaic together. Nothing was too much hassle, no time of day nor night too late or early to answer my increasingly frantic questions. There is an old saying; something about frogs and princes but thats not relevant right now, what is relevant is that Emily shone like the north star guiding us on our way to the big day. For an entire year she metaphorically held our hand and we are thankful for someone as kind, wise and caring as she. So weve covered organisation, helpfulness etc, but what about the food I hear you cry. Dear god people have some decorum, Im getting there. We had a tasting of our planned wedding menu in June 22, a weird experience where my now wife, myself and every now and then Emily sat in our empty venue eating a three course dinner in the middle of the day, so we knew that someone at gather and feast could cook (not Emily that day). We had a choice of starter and dessert. It doesnt matter what it was, you just carry on enjoying your cake. I am a bit of a foodie, I like nice food and of all the food I like, a roast is at the very top. It is hard to get a roast right, anyone can make a mediocre roast, to make a truly great one is more of an art form. Oh ok since you asked, Ill break down the menu. For starters we had Salmon with Bilinnis or Spiced Butternut Squash and Red Pepper soup. Both tasted as if actual angel essence was used in their creation. The main was roast chicken with all the trimmings, the red cabbage made me want to cry tears of joy. Dessert was either brownie or lemon tart. I got my own special brownie because sugar and I are old enemies. Every single bite was delicious, like licking an angels cheek (you can visualise your own angel here). So, the food, sublime, hot and timely. The service, exceptional, the staffing was practically perfect in every way. In the end dear reader the day went without a hitch and our fair chef/planner made sure everything happened exactly as I had planned. Now, this tale is almost done. We must of course cover of the most vulgar of subjects, that of financial recompensedid you actually think I was going to tell you how much! Good lord no matron! Gather & Feast are by no means cheap but they are certainly not expensive either. They sit at about 75% of the way to expensive, perfectly positioned as far as Im concerned. Everything that could be controlled was done so to a t. Id like to thank everyone involved from G&F, you made a wonderful day exceptional.

We cannot thank Linda and the team enough. We had the most magical wedding day and can honestly say without the wonderful food it wouldn't have quite been the same. The food was incredible as we're all the staff. Couldn't do enough for us they really were fantastic. Thank you so much!
