I have bought MOT bay from jk garage equipment .guy called Jack .however my emission tester not working for gas analyser I have tried to ring him last three weeks never answering phone. too many cars queueing for MOT can anyone help . I need somebody else number who is working in the same company . I am struggling at the moment I dont know what to do

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! He got my post deleted from FB on the MOT & Automotive groups. He cant get away with leaving lives in danger. Jk Garage Equipment Ltd Lack of knowledge cowboys with a professional website. Do not trust these lot who install DEATH TRAPS. They even left bolts loose! Playing with peoples lives. Reported to HSE. I had two lifts that he attempted to install. One I purchased from himself and the other a scissor lift he removed and attempted to install. He gave us the incorrect run ups as the lift was previously surfaced mounted that had to be cut short to fit inside the workshop and then the welds broke with the first car coming on and off them (picture attached). The shaker plates dont work properly and no torch working. And he charged us 3000 for this lift. The second lift was a more complex scissor lift which he had no idea how to install. He wanted to charge me over 1000, when he didnt know what he was doing. He wanted to blame us (when he claimed to come the serving time with some wisdom) after he spent the five hours going up and down and couldnt figure out how to level the lift. Jack had nearly burnt the motor as he was putting the lift up and down for the best part of 6 hours. This caused a pipe to leave a hole in it and therefore when he returned the second time with his new found knowledge the lift was not doing what it did last time. Picture arched off an engineer who knew what he was doing and levelled it correctly! I had two engineers come out to what I thought was to carry out a calibration on the mot lift and confirmed that the cables were no good (installed in December 19 - lift had literally very little use due to the National lockdown, and engineer out in July 20) (Jack Kent claimed these cables were be l nearly new) so I asked the second engineer to confirm that this lift was safe to use. The engineers report is attached above confirming that the lift was installed, incorrectly, bolts were loose and told us to immediately stop using this its a death trap. At this point Ive contacted Jack Kent Garage Equipment but received a response saying calibration shouldve been done last month. Pathetic excuse as due to the National lockdown no engineer would come out some engineers were on furlough. I understand it was a second hand MOT lift, it was sold to me new cables and Id expect it to installed correctly.

Reported a fault with 4 post ramp at 11am this morning to Jack (managing director) and was told someone will be with us within an hour. After chasing numerous times throughout the day I finally called Ben who was really friendly and helpful and arranged for Tom to come out to the ramp. Tom got the ramp fixed within half an hour and the car was back on the ground. However Jack's attitude was totally unacceptable. Claiming a tech was an hour away, 20 mins away, down the road, pulling in now and even claiming he was on site at one point to then hanging up on us! A car was stuck on the ramp for well over 6 hours after the estimated time and we were lied to atleast 12 times by Jack! Tom and Ben however we fantastic and I can't thank enough for all they did today. Jack (the managing director) however is a total jockey
