The GPs are great and helpful, the reception is clearly underfunded and understaffed as I spend 1hr + being caller position 1. No one can be bothered to pick up the phone

Dr Sharmila Shrestha at Trowbridge Surgery saw me today and I have to say that she was incredible. She is empathetic and compassionate, she is understanding and really cares. She does not rush you, she sees you like if she does not have any other patient to see after which makes you feel listened to and comfortable. She is by far the best GP I have come across in the UK. Thank you, I am truly grateful.

Unfortunately, I've never had such a bad experience with a GP before. Not only have I been refused healthcare because they don't know enough about how to treat me, I recently made an appointment (getting up at 7 am to fill out my form using Dr. IQ) and travelled there when I was very unwell, and when I got there they said they'd 'forgotten' to book it for me so couldn't be seen. I also have changed my name on the system, and they still continue to use my old name every time I go in or they call which is very triggering. Avoid Trowbridge unless you have 0 other options.

Incredibly rude receptionist or whoever spoke to me on the phone today. When booking appointment for Saturdays you should ensure that there is a way to confirm/get in touch with you, as there was no confirmation sent it is impossible to know whether my appointment was mistake(as the website and Google showed CLOSED and phone was off) or was I actually meant to turn up for appointment to officialy closed surgery. Next available appointment 2 weeks away, which is fine but to answer my question about availability with " if there was anything we would have told you so" is super unproffesional and makes it clear you are not welcomed there.

Horrible booking method. You can only book an appointment with a doctor for the same day if you call at 8pm sharp. I called at 8 and I was already 10th in the queue and I couldn't book an appointment. I had an urgent health issue and they just told me to wait and call back next week. Embarrassing. And then if you tell them you went to a&e for a minor issue they should have dealt with, they tell you off. Well what am I supposed to do? Just wait around in pain?
