Bought some pies pasties and sausage rolls for my partner. She had been waiting for 13 years since being diagnosed coeliac to taste anything as good as these. Would recommend this company to anyone who has a gluten allergy. Definitely be buying a lot more

They may seem expensive at first, but these pies are handmade by a small business, made the morning before they arrive by special delivery in an insulated iced container, not by a large corporation. They are also much larger than your standard 130 gram pork pie at 495 grams, so actually work out cheaper than the M&S and Sainsbury's GF alternatives by weight, even after postage costs. Nobody is going to live off them, or they would probably get liver cancer and die from the colestorol, but as a treat to they are bang on and bangin. When you open them up it is clear they have been made from proper cuts of decent pork, beef and chicken, apparently the pork comes from their own livestock, and I well believe it. not just the kneecaps and trotters you would expect from a shop bought pork pie. (Not saying those aren't delicious too, i remember them well) I genuinely believe it is not a buisiness trying to profit excessively off people's allergies and intolerances, but a buisiness trying to provide a decent and delicious gluten free version of some of the nation's favourite snacks. The pastry is the closest thing I have had to 'the real thing' (from what I remember, it's been several years since I've been able to eat gluten) I just wish they made bread too, because if they can make pies this good they would blow all other GF bread out the water. Thank you Voakes.
