We had a lovely time staying for a week to relax with some great views of the countryside. The house was very comfortable, very well presented with a clear eye for the little details. Andrew and Christine (the owners) were easily contactable and very helpful when needed. Lovely people! There was a maintenance issue with the dishwasher but this was dealt with swiftly and did not detract from the holiday. The house is on a working farm, but there was very little in the way of intruding sounds or other disturbances. The location is great for easy access to Kendal, Penrith, Keswick and much of the lake district. There are a few easy walks around the surrounding area of the farm with beautiful views. We will definitely return in the future.
