I rented a property in Whitton. On leaving the property which me and my housemate left in immaculate condition, they withheld half of my deposit. When ringing them to ask why my deposit had been withheld Michael told me he would look into it and get back to me straight away. After that I heard nothing else from them, after sending them multiple emails with no response. I contacted all 3 tenancy deposit schemes and found out that half way through the tenancy they removed our money from the TDS and never out it back in. This is illegal! After finding this out and taking legal action they finally responded claiming they had done nothing wrong - and then paid me back the remainder of the deposit. If you are with them make sure you money is in a TDS - it is a legal requirement of the letting agency. I also had some dealings with a lady called Angela during the agency - who was very rude, when contacting her in a polite and reasonable manner she always respond with very sarcastic or rude responds which were completely unnecessary.
