Outstanding reserve with a great variety of flora and fauna. BE AWARE you will need a CODE to access this reserve as its MEMBERS ONLY once you have joined you will get a key for the hide and a KEY CODE to access the reserve along with a photo ID membership card. All of that is FREE OF CHARGE. All information is on their Facebook page. There is a strict NO DOGS policy due to many ground nesting birds. Please respect this beautiful reserve and leave no rubbish at site. Stick to the footpaths and enjoy the wildlife.

I love going to Kings dyke Nature Reserve, only negative I have is the bird hide at the reed bed does not have any seats in. I have cancer and after a walk, I was looking forward to a sit down and rest in this hide. I was extremely disappointed about this after my long walk. Also dogs aren't allowed but I saw a man with a dog, the dog was off his lead and running into the rabbit Warren's. Shame as this is a members only Bature Reserve.
