Booked short notice and had nice few hours in spa and then went for evening meal in the Aston's restaurant. We were seated next to a table of approx 10-15 golfers we had the worst experience ever they were all very drunk shouting and swearing in the restaurant. We could not even talk as too loud to hear each other. Advised there was dress code but not sure caps, tracksuits and shorts would be on the list. We couldn't get waitress attention to request a move but at end of meal lady asked if we were ok advised we were not and we moved for dessert, however still could hear them shouting and swearing. We took our drinks to bar to finish and all staff were aware of them and also reception were aware of the issues but no-one asked them to stop. We were told management would contact us but they couldn't be bothered either. The staff and customers should not have to put up with the disgusting behaviour of a few idiots but management would rather Their money than ours. Will not be back

Came here for my Birthday. We had the Spa package with overnight stay. Got here at 9.30am and spent the day at the spa. Would highly recommend. Spa was amazing. Extremely clean and plenty to do, price included brunch, which was a hot and cold buffet, this was very nice. We then checked in at 5pm and went to our room. The room was amazing, very big. Only thing that let it down was that the TV was too small for the room. Dinner included with package. We ate at Ashtons, food was delicious. I did find the hotel extremely busy, which made the spa over crowded at times and also the restaurant was very busy. My partner paid to have bubbles on ice in the room when we arrived, but we never got this, after he went down to mention it, we had to call down another 2 times before a bottle was finally brought up. Also he ordered a cake to be brought out after our main meal at the evening, which also never happened! This was a bit disappointing as it was meant to be a surprise. Breakfast was included in spa package, again very busy, breakfast was buffet style. When we got there at 9.30am, we had to wait a while to be seated. We also had to wait, as lots of items had run out where it was so busy, and had to wait for everything to be restocked. Would still recommend a visit.
