Popped in while we were moored up in the village. Great find, full of character. Good selection of ales and lagers, very friendly staff and more importantly dog friendly. Going back next week to try the food . Follow up review, went again a couple of weeks ago and we were not disappointed with the food, amazing! All fresh and delicious!

When for Sunday lunch today with our 87 year old mum. We were greeted by a lovely helpful waitress who couldnt do enough for us. We had starters which were delicious and ordered Sunday roasts. 1 beef and 1 belly pork dinner plus a steak pie. When the plates came I thought where is the pork and underneath the stuffing was some very very thin dried slices of something. Mum said her beef was the same and tasted it which was disappointing too. The waitress asked if everything was okay and I said the meat wasnt good. To be fair she did offer to change it for something else but I dont what she could have changed it too and as mum doesnt get out very often didnt want to make a fuss. All I can say is that the meat was definitely not sliced from freshly cooked joints today! Such a shame as had high hopes for it. Food & drinks: As described above. Very disappointed.
