        This old estate major pile was badly damaged by fire in 1937 and because it was under insured never rebuilt. The site is managed by English Heritage but you can only see the gardens with the amazing fountains. The nearby Baroque church survived the fire and is a must to visit afterwards have a cream tea in the garden below the halll
