        Did not stay at the Lodge but the service at the Restaurant Parsons Collar was absolutely disgusting. Was told there would be 30 min wait for food. 45 mins later, still no food even though other people had been served. Manager lied and said they said there would be a 45 min wait. Theres no way we would have waited that long if they said that in the first place as we had work to go back to. He refused a refund or to give his name replying I havent got a name and shrugged his shoulders. I got told there was no one above him I can complain to. Been a member of the adjacent gym Solent Hotel for nearly 2 years and the service from the restaurant was so disappointing.

        Rooms: Very Clean and perfect size. Quiet Nearby activities: There is a forrest and park nearby great for walks with the dogs and children. Also a shopping complex 11 minutes walk away. A lovely area to live. Walkability: You can walk to beach in under an hour.
