I took my son here tonight for a spontaneous dinner - we were lucky enough to be served by the empathetic store manager, Kain. My boy is 5 but has the mental age of a toddler, cannot verbalise his needs and is also autistic so has complex sensory issues which affect what he eats. I was expressing my dilemma to Kain and decided to order both burger and hotdog as I wasnt sure which one my son would tolerate. Hes very unpredictable. Kain kindly said I only had to pay for one as he knew what it was like. Ive never felt so seen by an establishment before and he even customised the hotdog with different options (one half cheese). When you are facing the world alone with a child that has extra needs, you are engulfed in a sense of loneliness that only those who live it can truly understand. Kain you made such a positive impact to more than just our dinner, but our lives, and I thank you for showing compassion not judgment, putting humanity over profit & reminding me that we are not alone. The world needs more people like you! PS he chose the burger and loved it
