All of my family have been attending Whiteley Dental Practice for about 10 years, great team, always friendly and professional, our main treatment has been with Alastaire.

With regret I cannot recommend. I made an appointment to join as a private patient, with the intention of joining Den plan. I ended up cancelling the appointment and going elsewhere. This was entirely down to how I was spoken to and dealt with over the phone. Its a shame as I spoke to a different member of staff to cancel my appointment; who was excellent. Im sure the dentists are all excellent and had I got past this member of staff, I would be writing a different review (please read the other 5 star reviews for balance). I hope the practice can take my review as a opportunity to reconsider how they treat new customers. However Im certain I am not only person who has had an identical experience and gone elsewhere. In which case they need to know, that there is a problem.

Id been a patient here for over 10 years and was mainly happy with the service, especially Sharon who was always so personable and excellent. My experience started to go downhill when Ian retired. Initially I recommended my wife join, but she wasnt impressed with the way she was talked to or treated so decided against it. My hygienist appointments went from 2 a year to 1 a year (despite paying the same?) When I called to cancel and let them know I was going elsewhere, the receptionist didnt even sound like she cared, she just said fine ok. I get the impression they are busy enough not to worry too much about customer service so a customer leaving them is just a drop in the ocean.
