        Repairing boats is an essential part of the towns industry. Whitehaven has a safe harbour and an excellent boat repair facility, with high lifting devices and a willing and able workforce.

        One of the most modern facilities on the North West coast. As well as open storage, there is a state of the art under cover repair facility of 2500 sq ft. A 45 tonne crane can lift vessels up to 6m beam. There is also a 1 tonne jib crane and 20 tonne overhead gantry. Showers and toilets are available on site.
