From the minute we drove into the site it had a nice feel. Everything was very tidy and you could see it was exceptionally well looked after. We had a lovely greeting and what was nice (as it was raining!) they came out to our camper so we didnt get wet. A nice touch that was appreciated. Its a small site with a mixture of seasonal pitches and campers. Our pitch was big enough for our RV and car. The lawns were mowed regularly and the grass clippings collected. My pet hate is dragging all wet grass into the camper! The facilities are immaculate. Even through the rainy weather it was always clean. There is an information kiosk which we found helpful, a washing up area and a washer and a dryer. Also for the dogs - a heated dog wash! There is a lovely pub just down the road, The Plough which we visited a few times. The food is lovely and very reasonable. The site is in a great area for visiting all around Chester. There is seriously loads to do. Add to this we went to a couple of Rugby League games at nearby grounds and it is just about perfect! There is very little noise, all the campers respect the rules. We will most definitely be back.
