A locals jaunt. Restaurant- Quite dated and untidy (eg, hoovers left out in eating area. Hammer and tools behind counter but still visible). Staff all so lovely, some not so professional, eg eating in front of us. Food was fair. Farm shop, again staff lovely. Food very overpriced and not high end enough to justify prices. Nothing caught my eye in the gift shop, again a little dated but probably catering to an older audience.

Normally excellent but this was 1st day of Christmas menu and things not as good. 4 stars for overall quality in 2019. 2023 - Haddock fish cakes with salad and new potatoes. Good food and goid service. Parking: Right by restaurant.
