Rowland Hill Nursery School & Children Centre

Wonted to share my experience today and to start with thanking the midwife that's based in rowland children center N17. Her care couldn't have been any better. You can tell she doesn't take short cuts in her job and she takes your care seriously. Plus she had appointments back to back and still provided a professional care. Great service in care

Our son is attending this nursery and he settled there so nicely. He is always very happy at the entrance and also at the end of the day. All teachers are very experienced, and able to put children at ease, achieving great progresses with behavior and academic. Highly recommended!

The staff here are more concerned about your child being a minute late than anything else remotely important. They make a point of telling you that at the gate, then at reception, then again from the class teacher. Guess what, life happens - you can't control external factors such as traffic, illness etc. However, their pedantic obsession with punctuality doesn't go the other way so they will leave you waiting at the gates and be late themselves opening it, but that's not an issue. Also, you will never see the headteacher - she sends are minions out to man the gates because she's far too busy drinking tea in the warmth of her office rather than welcoming parents and children. I think that says a lot about the leadership in itself.
