Played in mizuno competition today and got to say I was very disappointed with the condition of the greens . Very patchy and full of moss and some disease

It's fine. Just fine. The Emerald course is nice enough with some cool challenging holes but the fairways could do with a bit of love and some of the greens weren't particularly well maintained. The Sapphire course has character but it was quite poorly maintained in parts, the greens in particular where shocking at times. Clumps of sand everywhere, incredibly spongy even with little rain the few days prior and worm casts EVERYWHERE. Not a great deal that can be done about the latter but hey ho. Pro shop staff where pretty miserable as well. Seemed very uninterested and at times a little rude. Not the best reception to set you up with before a round. Maybe worth doing if your trying to tick box courses in the area but it'd be hard to justify another trip.
