        Went to enjoy nature and peace and quiet as needed ro reset my batteries, this was not the case. The noise of traffic is a nuisance snd not peaceful at all. The bbq on the patio of the gkamping pod I stayed in had all mould on the grill. I had to clean it and disinfect it before using it. The pod was nice and clean. But due to traffic noise I left a day early. On the morning at 8:40am I sent an email stating I was checking out as no one was at reception and asked for a partial refund. 4 days later and I am still waiting for an email back. This is not customer service!

        Ideal site for newbies (like us) and has everything you need. Other reviews will give more detail, all I will say is that I spoke to the owner when he was out doing maintenance by the fishing pool and he was a nice genuine person ( same goes for cafe staff) - and these sort of folk deserve my money. Road noise isn't a big a problem as some make out and we did the pleasant canal walk to Whitchurch in 25 mins. Will definitely be back.
