        Beautiful Quayside cottage. Lovely views. Needs and ice depart in the fridge, car parking houredous. You have to pay on a private car park. Went to the visitors centre to ask regarding the best way forward regarding this. Recommended from the visitors centre to buy a weekly pass which cost 48.00 6 days and park on church street car park. Now need the sun

        We would not recommend. Location is brilliant but to get to this location you need to walk a good 10 min with luggage then down and up steps etc. However that is not the reason we dont recommend this property. The property is very run down and certainly not worth 500 for three nights. Please see attached pictures. Aside from this the bedroom is tiny / badly laid out, small double bed with little space to walk round the bed, creaky design so you cant breath without noise ( do not book for honey moon!!) Kitchen tiny, pots / glasses not clean floor falling apart and a complete trip hazard. Paint / plaster falling off most walls. Avoid !!

        Really enjoy staying at quayside in Whitby, yeah bit small but its lovely warm and welcoming, billy who I assume is the maintenance man is always helpful, dont expect a mansion just enjoy the log burner and the sea running up the beach, the only gripe is the geezer up top with his plants all over the place, other than that we really enjoy coming here, hopefully back in December for the big seas and strong winds.
