Low Tide Apartment

Rooms: Presented really well, clean and tidy, you can see the attention to detail in the finishes. Good size master bedroom with humongous double bed. Lounge has a great double chair to view the river and harbour. Nearby activities: Walking distance to the quaint old Whitby town, with its cobbled streets and hostelries with friendly staff. Walkability: All on one level unless you go to the iconic Abbey, where the 199 steps are a magnet for the amateur photographer with its panoramic views. While up there at the Abbey, you can recover at the micro brewery with their home brewed ales and a freshly made to order pizza, just check opening times to avoid disappointment. Food & drinks: The best fish and chips are always at the coast and Whitby is no exception, there are plenty to choose from with their award winning produce. We ate at the Abbey Brewery and Albert's on the cobbles. Albert's is so good with their locally sourced foods and personal service, nothing is too much for their chef to take care of for you.

Really lovely apartment, located a short walk from Whitby centre, beautiful location over looking views of the harbour area and train line which if you enjoy steam trains great watching them come in and out of the station. Apartment was well equipped, extremely clean and brilliant for relaxing and taking in the views. Rooms were a good size too. We stayed with young children but the location made all main attractions within walking distance but far enough away from the main hustle and bustle. Apartment comes with parking which means you dont have to take car into the main town area. We had a really lovely stay and will most certainly return.
