This is a big shop overlooking the harbour and 2 minutes walk from the railway and bus stations. If you have patience and time to browse there are hidden treasures just waiting to be discovered. From household items, small furniture, vintage clothing, designer to High Street, good condition donated goods go out on the rails every day so the earlier you get there the better. If you like putting together clothes for your own unique look then this is Whitby's gem of charity shops. And they have a great book section too, and music - CD's, audio books, vinyl - you can take a seat and get lost in a book (or two) - all sorted into genre and author. There's two changing rooms and volunteers are helpful and friendly and I'm guessing some like vintage style too! There's a sandwich shop next door so when you finish shopping you can pick up a delicious lunch and coffee and eat it sitting on one of the harbour benches - check out that stunning view of the Abbey across the river. Well worth a visit!
