        I would have to say I was somewhat dissapointed. We had a lovely stay in Whitby, and stopped by The Chocolate Box in search of gifts for friends and family. Some of the chocolate items seemed rather expensive for what they were, but we bought some anyway. Later, we were very dissappointed by the quality of chocolate, which I don't think we can describe in any other way than very low quality. We understand that these holiday destinations will charge a premium, and we certainly don't mind provided that the quality is at least comparable to popular brands (say, Cadburies or Lindt) but these were well below that, and we felt a bit cheated considering what we paid.....

        Lovely little shop! The chocolate coffins are always a must when I come to whitby! The chocolate doesn't just look great but it tastes absolutely delicious! The man who owns/works in the shop is extremely friendly and talkative. Highly recommend!

        Bought a chocolate bat and coffin . Very lovely little shop with a nice selection and not bad prices . Visit every time we go to whitby and never disappointed.

        Went today after it caught my eye as I walked past. Really nice gift-style chocolates and taste really good too. Only bought a couple as my first visit but will be back to get a couple more for Christmas gifts. The guy serving me was really friendly and helpful and made me feel welcome in my short visit.
