As someone who would travel the country in search of the best pork pie my partner considers him self a pork pie connoisseur and after trying just about every pork pie shop He's ever walked past. he so far has only two on his list of favourites until today after a pint in the golden lion a lovely proper pub we walked out the door turned right about thirty yards up the hill where my partner's eyes lit up at the sight of a traditional butcher's with a fine display of fresh home made pork pies.pork pork and apple pork and black pudding still warm well jellied they had to be tried so here we go after forty years of pie tasting Brekons Butcher's has made the list a must on a trip to whitby top quality fresh from the oven every morning they score a perfect 10

This is the best butchers in Whitby by far, they have the best meat etc and OMG the best ever Cornish pasties, quiche, steak pies the list can go on and you can pre order so your not disappointed. I collected mine today and they were packed in a box so easy to carry which I found a great touch. Please make a visit you wont be disappointed youll just keep going back x

we order pork pies from here when we come up 3 times a year from lincolnshire and colect a box at a time to take home the cost and quality is second to non wish thay had a shop closer but we get to spend time in whitby as well double bonus
