This is primarily regarding the restaurant. My partner and I stopped by last Monday 1st November 21 at around 10:30 am. We had stayed in Whitby for the weekend , and were keen to scope out our next stay, and the Stables looked very inviting. We were blown away by the interior and attention to detail in every visual aspect, and were eager to see if the food matched the quality of the decor since it is advertised that they served food all day long 10am onwards. We were greeted by a polite waitress and we sat in a corner next to a cosy fireplace thinking this was the perfect end to our weekend..not a minute later we were told by the same waitress that had seated us that they weren't serving food. No matter how nice the interior is if your waiting staff do not communicate well, and understand your opening/serving times that will undoubtedly filter through to your "would be" customers. Im glad we hadn't travelled far for this all day service...so we left wondering what had just happened, and our money was spent elsewhere.
