Rooms: Each room is uniquely themed. Some rooms have amazing views over the harbour and of the Abbey. Walkability: Five minutes walk to centre. Great location for everything but at the same time away from the crowds. Food & drinks: Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Cocktails in the lounge are a treat whilst listening to jazz on their record player.

Wow. Just wow. My partner treated me for my birthday and he picked this gem of a place. Each room is themed from Stoker to Caravan. We stayed in the Arabesque which contained a massive 4 poster bed , bath and gorgeous furniture . Downstairs had a fantastic tea room and library area laden with antiques and well there is a lot of taxidermy in this place. The bar was great and all the cocktails were unique and amazing although one unsavoury character who eventually left in a strop because they didn't make Mai Tais. The breakfasts were varied and plentiful it was great to get breakfast in bed! Fab location too.. overall I love this place!

Rooms: All of the rooms are different and individually themed. We were in the Saloon. The rooms are not all full of every mod con but they were certainly very comfortable. I thought I'd miss having a shower but a copper bath the size of a swimming pool was a wonderful alternative. (Other rooms do have showers). Downstairs there is a lovely breakfast/tea room and the cocktail library requires several visits. Treat yourself to a Turkis Rose
