Such a lovely little cottage, really clean, well kept and comfortable. You could easily spend a week or longer here. The kitchen is well equipped and a great size! Living Room has enough space to relax and play boardgames, of which there are plenty provided. Our children found them and spent every minute we were in the cottage playing The cottage is on 3 levels, kitchen 1st, living room & bathroom 2nd and bedrooms third. It was a very warm week when we visited (25+) therefore really quite hot on the top floor. This certainly cannot be helped however if a fan were available for the bedrooms it would make sleeping a little easier. We just took the duvet of the bed and slept under the sheets. There's a really lovely bakery on the corner which does amazing coffee and pastries so a nice treat for breakfast! The only negative to our stay was the seagulls, incredibly loud and called all goes of the night. It was my first overnight stay in Whitby centre and if staying again would certainly take earplugs.

Although house was both well situated & equipped for able people we were so upset on having to cut our holiday short. This was due to radiators being controlled by owners & my husband with health issues getting ill to being too cold. Shocked that we were not offered ANY refund at all. Would not recommend to people with health issues. If we had known before booking that heating was controlled we would NEVER have booked. Really spoilt our holiday with grandchildren.
