Great find by our friend, we stayed 2 nights, short walk to centre, one parking space, back streets are narrow, which didn't bother me but do ask if you are unsure Rooms: All rooms where more spacious than I thought they would be, kitchen had everything and opened up right next to the dining room with a log fire also views out to garden

This is a great base for exploring Whitby, just a 5 minute walk from the town centre and right next door to Pannett Park. It's like taking a step back in time - lots of original features, a Range and an open fire - really cosy and comfortable - dog friendly too. The house was spotless and well equipped. Will definately return.

We stayed here for the weekend, it's a gorgeous property with plenty of space and rooms. It has been lovingly restored and we were very impressed by the cleanliness of the place! Absolutely spotless. The location is perfect too so close to the town and the beach. The kitchen is a bit little if you want to cook, but if you don't its fine. We were also greeted with a lovely bottle of wine and biscuits just after we arrived which was a great touch. Gorgeous warm house and the fire was divine. The bed was super comfortable and we brought our dogs who loved running up and down all the stairs and exploring. It's a fabulous place to stay. Lost a star as check in was 4pm and check out was very early at 9am which I didn't like and I've never experienced anywhere before.
