        Lovely end of town but beware of the biggest, greediest sea gulls you've ever seen, they'll come up behind you and steal whatever you're having to eat , fish n chips , sandwiches or ice cream and if they can't get it off you , they'll bomb you and cover you in what they had for their previous meal , be warned !

        We visited West Pier at Whitby and it was a great experience! The pier is a popular tourist destination and offers a beautiful view of Whitby Abbey and the sea. The atmosphere was very relaxed and wind was pleasing. I would definitely recommend a visit to anyone looking for a great day out.
