Rooms were tidy and clean and apart from the toilet being wall mounted and too high off the floor so my legs wouldn't touch the ground, and the pull chord for the light over the sink (which was in the bedroom) snapping on us twice with only gentle pulling, the room was decorated in a contemporary style although a little small. Hence only a double bed and not a king-size one in our room. We liked to turn the chair round and sit having a coffee admiring the beautiful gardens outside and the sea view before going down for breakfast but it was annoying when we came back to the room later in the day to find the chair had been turned back facing the centre of the room instead. The rainfall shower was nice though. I did feel breakfast was rather rushed (only given half an hour to eat it all) the food was cleared exactly 30 mins after you were seated. You had to get everything you wanted for breakfast at the same time which cluttered the table. The decor of the building outside and inside was cosy and homely though. We felt ALL rules had to be adhered to under the strict supervision of the owner at all times due to Covid restrictions- mask wearing in public places when there was really no need as we never came face to face with other guests, and the bar was only open from 5-7pm. But overall, an enjoyable stay. No major grumbles, just niggly ones.
