Situated about 10 minutes walk from the town of Whitby the Norman guesthouse is a well built and well cared for establishment. Our landlady,Deborah,is very friendly and welcoming person who goes to great lengths for you to enjoy your stay. Our room was peaceful, clean and comfortable with tv and tea making facilities and we enjoyed two restful nights. Continental breakfast was included but this conjured up images of a dried up croissant and instant coffee, think instead a strong brew with fresh bread, crumpets, cereals, fresh fruit, deli meats and cheeses and preserves (sorry if I have missed anything) and you may get a better idea, all very appetising. As an add on I also liked the free parking option which is only a short walk away. Overall we enjoyed our stay, felt well catered for and would book again.
