        We had high hopes when we arrived at Woodmans between Christmas & New Year with our beloved labbie crosses Holly and Henry, but nothing could have prepared us for such a warm, dog-loving yet totally professional welcome. As if by magic the clouds cleared and we enjoyed glorious Winter Whitby sunshine for the duration of our stay which was matched perfectly by the beautifully styled, spotless and ultra-comfortable penthouse and the scrumptious breakfasts served to us daily in our room. Everything has been thought of for the comfort of the guests, both two-legged and four-legged. Our dogs loved Romany and Alan instantly (always a good judge of character) and we found Woodmans facilities, not least their well-stocked bar, way beyond our expectations. We will definitely return to Woodmans in the near future and will continue to recommend it to all our friends. Thank you again Romany and Alan and see you soon, from John, Adie, Henry and Holly
