        Stayed I'm attic room 1 double and single in room slept separately ceiling beams too low not good for tall people. Only 1 bath towel each no hand towels, lack toiletries and tea making facilities, TV way too small for room lovely owner Walkability: On cliff top so a bit of a walk

        We were looking for budget friendly, comfortable accommodation in Whitby and were lucky to get space at Esklet. Room was clean, comfortable and exactly what we needed. I struggle with stairs and was happy to have the family room on the ground floor. It was quiet, beds were comfortable and great tea/coffee making facilities. No cleaning, but coffee items and toilet paper etc replenished. Parking available - discs given to display in controlled zone. Within easy walking distance of shops, beaches, museum etc. Food & drinks: No food offered. We went out for big breakfasts and snacked on sandwiches etc.
