High Tor Guest House

What a fabulous guest house, every little detail was amazing, from guitar shaped spoons in the room and sweets, to a collection of Babycham glasses on display, the Room was excellent with a superking size bed, breakfast again had the little details, like a sources from a local producer, fabulous tea and coffee and everything cooked fresh. The pictures of Bowie and a range of film posters, plus a range of figures from the 60,70 and 80's gave the Tor a real interesting feel. The location was perfect very short walk to town, John and Lisa were excellent hosts, our stay in Whitby was wonderful came for Fish and Chips but went home with alot more. Dean and Marie.

Had a fantastic 2 night stay at High Tor. John and Lisa are wonderful hosts. Very comfortable room with en suite . Breakfast is everything you can ask for. Tea/coffee tray in the room had thoughtful little touches of a very nice fruit cake and a bag of chocolates/sweets. Will most definitely be back. Two very nice restaurants 5 min walk away Ditto and pizza west.

Stayed here so many times and all I can say is High Tor and its hosts John and Lisa are absolutely fabulous. Cleanliness is amazing 10/10 Breakfasts are amazing 10/10 and John and Lisa go above and beyond helpful. Booked again for next year. No guest would be disappointed!!!!
