    Initial reaction was it was very compact, however felt that it would be fine for our requirements, found to be very clean and tidy, decorated to a high standard, every possible consideration given to equipment and facilities required for your visit, have never rented an apartment/villa/chalet/caravan in the past that supplies washing up liquid, washing powder, dishwasher tablets as well as all required cloths etc.... Kitchen well appointed, with tea and coffee available, with coffee machine, dishwasher and washing machine as well as all usual appliances, and well stocked crockery and cutlery. Self check in, with tablet with all local advice, free WiFi, Smart TV and Amazon Echo (Alexa) all ready for use... This was our first visit to Whitby, and feel that Pannett Apartments is a great find, which we will use again when returning.

    First Lady who dealt with my booking was named Sian. Helpful and polite. We then arrived to the apartment and it went down hill from there. Having to wash all the plates and cooking equipment which were dirty from previous guests. I didnt dare tackle the frying pan. Rubbish had been left in drawers and 3 had 3 forks for a family of 5. Despite sending 3 messages to Emily the property manager, we were totally ignored yet she was able to message us with regards to checking out on time. Even added that we should leave the apartment clean and tidy! Shame we didnt get the same respect and customer service. Had management had the decency to at least acknowledge my message, I wouldnt have left this review. But hopefully future guests will see this before their potential visit to the beautiful Whitby is shadowed by management who clearly dont care and just want your money. I have pictures if there is any dispute.
