We are staying here Mon to Fri. Only got here yesterday but what is there not to like. As ever LMT have done a brill job & the housekeeper for it spick & span for our arrival. Not a bad place to do some ironing either.

Exquisitely restored by the Landmark Trust, this larger than expected tiara folly is an absolutely beautiful house to stay in, with a stunning view. It is set within the grounds of the Gibside estate which is run by the National Trust. Holidays for up to 4 people can be booked through the Landmark Trust though. Be warned that the only access road is stoney and potholed, and frankly, a little scary if you get any snow like we did!
