Baystone Bank Farm Campsite

Just got home yesterday from spending 4 nights at Baystone Bank farm and what a beautiful place. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. It has great facilities and beautiful walks on the door step. Loved that we were able to take our 4 dogs as well. Also loved that each pitch has its own fire pit. We will definitely be going back.

Its a beautiful setting and location but we found there to be no one around when we needed them. The camp warden stays on site and theres a sign on his caravan that says Camp warden reception area. However, I was either ignored by him when outside the caravan saying excuse me or made to feel like a huge inconvenience. Jamie was very friendly but we just could not get hold of anyone on the phone despite leaving messages to call back. We woke up on a very rainy morning and the website said the cafe opens at 8am. We had 3 kids under 5 and went up to the cafe at 8:15 to find it closed with a sign saying back in 5mins on it. We stood in the rain waiting but no one came and there was no one around, no one answering the phone. I still dont know when the opening times are, it says to check their Facebook page for opening times but there wasnt any info on there. It has the potential to be a great site if they were more present and approachable and if they answered the phone!
