When I went 2 years ago to have a shoot for my toddler, having seen someones photos done by Tori, I instead got a man (I dont recall his name).
The photo session was average, nothing stood out, he didnt have little tricks or ways to make my son do things, it was just like me snapping pics at home, still me doing things to get him to look etc except someone else was pressing the button.
The icing on the cake was at the end when the photographer asked if Id come back on my own to do glamour shots. It just seemed odd and unprofessional - if it was a genuine thing, isnt there places people can sign up to do that sort of thing?
The pictures themselves were awful - the only picture that was even worthy of keeping was completely unsuitable to frame or put on a canvas because there was no gap around the edge to allow for this. Luckily I knew someone who did a bit of photography as a hobby and they had photoshop so they did something to that only one that was useable (just him looking at the camera though so not overly exciting) and duplicated some of the background to enable me to put it on a canvas. I never did use it though as it was so dull - my son is usually so smiley and happy (including there) so it was so weird to have a picture where none of his personality was shown.
When Ive continued to see these brilliant pictures taken by little wotsits I had started to wonder if I was mistaken as to where I had been. But it was definitely in Jimmys Farm, up an external flight of stairs to a 1st floor studio. I think therefore that after my horrendous experience, it would seem that it is a case of more than one person that works here and Tori was not who I got!
